DMX began rapping in the late 1990s. He released his debut The album It's Hot in the year 1998 and Hell was Dark the 19th of May, 1998. The album was followed by other releases including... And Then There Was X and Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. In 2001, his album was titled... And There was X was awarded the Grammy nomination for the category of Best Rap Album. In addition to his musical career, he has participated in film projects such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Excit Wounds Always Die Alone Never Die in a room alone, bleeding Romeo Will Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
